Out February 26th--the 5 year anniversary of the passing of my beloved grandmother. It's called "Go and Stay" and explores the story of Orpheus and Eurydice. I touched on this a little bit with "Ἄτυς, Εὐρυδίκη" (Atys, Eurydice). Both Atys and Eurydice were victims and casualties of cowardice, selfishness and hubris of Croesus and Orpheus, respectively. People in your life aren't just symbolic characters, they're actual people with feelings. I wasn't a lesson to learn--I am a real person with real feelings. I hope that people learn whatever it is they need to learn, but I am just sorry I had to be part of that painful learning process.
